Coda - Process
Working on the fourth film was very satisfactory, and now that all is done, I am quite pleased with the results. Of course, this wouldn’t have been possible if it hadn’t been for the work of the entire class, really.

The biggest challenge of the fourth piece was to tie together the first three films. Its main purpose was to provide a closing idea for all the...

I was very inspired by this piece because I love the depth and textures that can be created with paper cutouts. This film was produced by Veronika Obertová, and it was her grad film for graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, in Bratislava, Slovakia. She won various awards for this great film. Her other work features stop motion animation, motion graphics, and digital cutouts. Her...

"Paper Airplane" research
This amazing piece was created by Agency muh-tay-zik for Premiere Global Services. This piece was directed by Nando Costa, a Brazilian artist living in Oregon. He’s a graphic designer, illustrator, and animator. His work is mostly commercial motion graphics, but he has a strong background in fine arts. You can check out his website HERE.
The illustrations for the piece were made by Betsy...
